Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies Double Glazing Hub uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. For how we handle your personal data more generally, see our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use your browser’s local storage in a similar way. Together they let us remember how you arrived at the site so we can attribute enquiries to the right marketing campaign.
First-party marketing-attribution cookies
When you land on the site we set a small set of first-party cookies, each named with a wml_ prefix. They store marketing-attribution values — the UTM campaign values (such as source, medium and campaign) and any advertising click identifiers passed in the URL by ad platforms (for example a Google or Meta click id), along with the page you first landed on. These values are kept so that if you submit the enquiry form, we can record how you reached us.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
wml_utm_source, wml_utm_medium, wml_utm_campaign, wml_utm_term, wml_utm_content | Store the marketing campaign values you arrived with | First-party | 90 days |
wml_gclid, wml_fbc, wml_fbp and similar click-id cookies | Store advertising click identifiers so an enquiry can be attributed to a campaign | First-party | 90 days |
wml_landing_url | Records the first page you landed on | First-party | 90 days |
The same values may also be mirrored in your browser’s local storage, which does not expire automatically but can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
Analytics and tag-manager cookies
We may enable a tag manager and analytics in future to understand how the site is used. If and when that happens, additional cookies (for example Google Analytics _ga cookies) will be set, and this policy will be updated to list them before they go live.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. Blocking these cookies will not stop you using the site or submitting the form — it only means we may not be able to attribute your enquiry to a campaign.
